  1. Hi tnkgrl:

First of all, thanks for all the objective comments on mobile phones. It’s great to have the inside out of the productcs that one in planning to invest in. And now my real comment. I’m a mac user and it would be really helpfull to see of all the phones that you try a mac friendly index. Why? Well, I´m in the middle of a crisis right now. I did a firmware update on my Nokia N73 and lost the iSync capability. I used to sync perfectly my contacts and agenda, but I lost it. I contacted Nokia and refered to it as a Mac problem, since this happened after the update I really doubt this is the real issue. So anyway, I´m in the hunt for a new phone (N73 has served it’s 2 years of service) and iPhone here in Mexico is extremely expensive. I’m getting a quote of $503 USD for a 18 month contract of 45 USD per month that does not include data. OMG it is expensive, so I been looking for other phones here in your web page but the question always pops up. Is this phone going to sync with my MacBook?

Anyway, thanks for putting all this usefull info for us and hope this helps on something.

    Cheers from Guadalajara, Mexico.

    Pablo

    • I’m a Mac user too, and if you look at my reviews here, I generally mention iSync support (or no iSync support), for each phone.

All Symbian phones support iSync, but Nokia does not always provide the plugins for iSync right away (or at all), so I often write my own plugins and make them available here.
