tnkgrl Mobile: Tech that Matters 
Thanks for the review. Some background and then my question. We’re on Sprint, I have a Hero and my wife has an LG Rumor Touch that needs to be replaced due to issues. I’m trying to talk her into the jump to Android, if she can get over the on screen keyboard. My question is, do you think I should also consider this? How much of a step up is this from the Hero? I have the usual gripes about that phone (general sluggishness, though the latest HTC update fixed the crappy dialer lag.) Thanks for all you bring to the Engadget Mobile site/podcast. You do great work!
The Optimus S is a gem of phone for the money – it runs circles around the Hero! You can’t go wrong…
