Pictures taken with the Motorola Charm

On paper, the Motorola Charm features the same lackluster 3 megapixel fixed-focus camera as the Motorola Devour.

Based on the abysmal quality of the Devour camera, my expectations were extremely low. Thankfully, the Charm performs a lot better…

Gone are the underexposed shots, lack of detail, and poor white balance. The resulting pictures are reasonably decent for a fixed-focus camera (slide show) – even low-light performance is acceptable!

Sadly, the Charm fares worse than the Devour for video recording, which is limited to CIF resolution (352×288 pixels) at about 25 fps.
